The National Weather Service has issued the following:  

What: Extreme Heat Warning  
Where: NYC  
When: 12 PM on 6/22 to 8 PM on 6/24  

Hazards: Heat index values up to 107 degrees expected. These conditions are dangerous to health. People without air conditioning, older adults, people with chronic health conditions, and people who work outside are most at risk.   

Preparedness Actions:   

- Spend time in a cool place. If you don't have air conditioning, find a cool place to visit nearby, like a friend’s place, a library, or a NYC cooling center. Visit https://finder.nyc.gov/coolingcenters/ for NYC Cool Options 

- Avoid strenuous activity
