1. Robbery Arrest (1616) 2000 Block of South El Dorado Street, Seaport District
The male victim, 33, was working at an area business when the suspect entered, brandished a firearm, and demanded property. The victim complied, and the suspect fled in a vehicle. Officers located the vehicle, stopped it, and arrested the suspect without incident. The firearm and property were recovered. ARRESTED:
Benson Thomas, 18, for robbery and weapon charges.
2. Robbery (1700) 5500 Block of North Sherwood Way, Lakeview District
The male victim, 55, was in the listed area when the suspects approached him. The suspects attacked the victim, took his property, and fled the area. SUSPECTS: Three Black male adults.
3. Robbery (2300) 2700 Block of Country Club Boulevard, Civic District
The male victim, 30, was working inside an area business when the suspects attempted to shoplift merchandise. The victim attempted to stop them, but the suspects pushed him to the ground and fled on foot. SUSPECTS: A White male adult and a Hispanic male adult.
4. Person Shot (0009) 1400 Block of North El Dorado Street, Civic District
The male victim, 18, and his friends were walking in the listed area when a group, including the suspect, approached them. The suspect attempted to snatch the victim’s property, and a fight ensued. During the fight, one of the victim’s friends dropped their property, which the suspect’s group now had. When the victim
demanded the return of the property, the suspect shot him. The victim was transported to a local hospital for treatment of a non-life-threatening injury. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
