Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on June 22, 2025 at approximately 1648 hours, Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Reum St. and M 60, Niles, Howard Township, Cass County, Michigan. 

The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Levi Livermore, (24-year-old of Niles MI) was making a turn from M 60 onto Reum St., when he lost control, hit two street signs and then a vehicle. Larry Robinson, (59-year-old of Buchanan, MI) was heading east on Reum St., when his vehicle was struck by the vehicle driven by Livermore.  Robinson's passenger, Tammy Robinson and Levi Livermore were treated on scene. 

Larry Robinson was transported by ambulance to Lakeland Niles Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash.  Alcohol was a factor in the crash.  It is unknown if all parties were wearing their seat-belts.
 
Assisting agencies were Berrien County Sheriff's Office, Howard Township Fire Dept. and SMCAS Ambulance. 

The incident remains under investigation.
