The National Weather Service issued a the entire forecast area, including New Jersey, eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, and northeastern Maryland. until 8 pm. Extreme risk for heat related illnesses due to a combination of hot temperatures, high humidity, and little to no nighttime relief. High temperatures in the mid-90s to near 100°. Maximum heat indices between 100-110° each day. A weather warning indicates a confirmed, current and present danger to this area.
Instructions:
Drink plenty of fluids, stay in an air-conditioned room, if possible, avoid strenuous outdoor activities during the hottest parts of the day, and check up on relatives and neighbors.
