Please be advised that beginning Tuesday, June 24, 2025, the boat ramp, fishing pier, and soft launch at Jackson’s Landing (Jug Bay Natural Area) will be closed for construction for several months. Canoe and kayak rentals will also be unavailable during this time.
We anticipate reopening in late fall 2025. During the closure, we encourage visitors to use the following alternative access points:

• Selby’s Landing at Jug Bay Natural Area – Boat Ramp, Soft Launch, and Small Fishing Pier
• Mount Calvert Historical and Archaeological Park – Soft Launch (paddlers only)

The Visitors Center will remain open during normal operating hours.
