Temperatures are expected to reach dangerously high levels. If you or someone you know needs a place to cool off, the following Cooling Centers will be open in Perth Amboy:

Open Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
Raritan Bay Area YMCA

Open Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM – 8:00 PM
Saturday & Sunday, 7:30 AM – 2:00 PM
Residents are also reminded to check on elderly neighbors, individuals without air conditioning, and pets. If it’s too hot for you, it’s too hot for them.
