We are aware of a major power outage in Cranford that appears to have been caused by an underground utility issue in a nearby town. PSEG has been NOTIFIED AND IS RESPONDING.
Please use caution when driving through the downtown at some traffic signals have been affected by this outage. Also, reserve 911 for emergencies only and please check for power outage updates directly through PSEG's website.
Our non-emergency phones have been temporarily affected by this outage as well, but we are working on a solution to get non emergency lines back up and running. PLEASE CALL 908-276-0146 TEMPORARILY FOR NON-EMERGENCY CALLS TO POLICE OR FIRE.
A reminder that the Cranford community center is open today and tomorrow as a cooling center for any residents that need temporary relief from the heat.
