An extreme heat warning/advisory is in effect for Westchester County today through Tuesday, June 24th at 8 PM. Temperatures expected to be 90-100 degrees, with heat indices 105-110 degrees. The extreme heat may persist into Wednesday, June 25th.
All are advised to remain in air conditioning and out of the sun, if possible. Drink plenty of water. Check on family, friends, neighbors, and pets. Take breaks if working outdoors.
North Castle Library is air-conditioned, and can be visited 10AM-530PM Monday and Wednesday, and 10AM-8PM on Tuesday. North Castle Town Pool is open until 7PM.
