UPDATE: This week, the official town cooling center will be open at Jamesburg Borough Hall (131 Perrineville Road) during regular business hours and the Jamesburg Public Library (229 Gatzmer Avenue) will also be open for extended hours to offer spaces for cooling. Hours for each location are listed below. Cold water will be available at both sites.
FROM JPL: The library is usually closed on Tuesdays, but it will be open this Tuesday 6/24 and extending its hours throughout the week to provide additional relief. Everyone is welcome. Families are encouraged to stop by—there are plenty of books, computers, and comfortable seating areas to enjoy while you cool down. Thursday is Food Truck Night and the library will be open that evening if you’d like to take a break from the heat between bites. Stay safe and hydrated!
