Absecon Police Arrest Galloway Township Man for Eluding, Receiving Stolen Property after Vehicle Pursuit 
The Absecon Police Department arrested Prince-Naseem Medas, 19, of Galloway Township, on multiple charges including receiving stolen property following the recovery of a stolen vehicle.
In the early morning hours of Monday, June 23rd, the Absecon Police Department received a report of a stolen motor vehicle from the area of Pine Street.
At approximately 3:00 PM that same day, an Absecon Police Officer observed the stolen vehicle traveling near 10th Avenue and Spring Lane.
When Officer Benjamin Masino attempted a motor vehicle stop, the suspect, later identified as Medas, fled, initiating a pursuit through Galloway Township. The pursuit continued along Upland Avenue until the suspect left the roadway near 1st Avenue, abandoning the vehicle and fleeing on foot.
With the assistance of the Galloway Township Police Department, Medas was located shortly thereafter and taken into custody without further incident. There were no reported injuries.
Medas was arrested by Ptl. Masino and charged with:
• Receiving Stolen Property
• Eluding
• Resisting Arrest
• Obstruction of Justice
He was lodged in the Atlantic County Justice Facility pending further proceedings.
