Woman Arrested on Numerous Charges for Striking a Man with Her Vehicle

VC23153(A)- DUI Alcohol Causing Bodily Injury
VC23153(B)- DUI .08 Alcohol Bodily Injury
LOCATION: 9000 Block of Foothill Boulevard, Rancho Cucamonga
SUSPECT(S): Lilia Guadalupe Mungia, Age 54, Resident of Bloomington
VICTIM(S): Confidential Male, Age 71
SUMMARY: On Tuesday, June 24, 2025, at approximately 11:14 P.M., deputies from the Rancho Cucamonga Sheriff’s Station responded to a report of an assault at the location.
Deputies arrived and located both the suspect and the victim. Deputies learned the suspect, Lilia Guadalupe Mungia, was parked in front of the victim’s residence. The victim and the suspect were involved in an altercation. During the altercation, Mungia drove her car into the victim, causing injuries. The victim was transported to a local hospital to receive further medical treatment.
Mungia was found to be under the influence of alcohol while driving. She was arrested and booked into the West Valley Detention Center for PC245(A)(1)- Assault with a Deadly Weapon - Not a Firearm, VC23153(A)-DUI Alcohol Causing Bodily Injury, and VC23153(B)-DUI .08 Alcohol Causing Bodily Injury.
