Flood Watch until 07:00AM Thursday

Several rounds of showers and storms will move through southeast Minnesota, from southwest into central Wisconsin, and parts of northeast Iowa through tonight. Rainfall totals of 1 to 3 inches are expected. Localized totals will range from 3 to 5 inches where storms repeatedly move over the same areas.

* WHAT...Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Iowa, including the following counties, Allamakee, Howard, Mitchell and Winneshiek, southeast Minnesota, including the following counties, Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Mower, Olmsted, Wabasha and Winona, and Wisconsin, including the following counties, Adams, Buffalo, Clark, Crawford, Jackson, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland, Taylor, Trempealeau and Vernon.

* WHEN...Through 7 am Thursday morning.

* IMPACTS...Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Showers and storms will be capable of producing over an inch of rain per hour and could repeatedly move over the same areas. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
