Wilmington Police have arrested a male juvenile in connection with an armed robbery.
On June 21, at approximately 3:04 p.m., members of the Uniformed Services Division responded to the 600 block of North Walnut Street, in reference to an armed robbery. Through the course of their investigation, police identified a 17-year-old male juvenile as a suspect. A short time later, police located the 17-year-old male juvenile in the 800 block of North Walnut Street. Officers attempted to make contact with the 17-year-old male juvenile, who fled on foot. Following a brief foot pursuit, the 17-year-old male juvenile was taken into custody without further incident.
The 17-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Robbery (First Degree)
- Conspiracy (First Degree)
- Resisting Arrest
He was arraigned in New Castle County Family Court and was committed to the New Castle County Detention Center on $31,000 cash-only bail.
