***Suspect Identified and Arrested***
Armed Robbery at local tobacco store 
***On June 26th a concerned citizen provided information about the possible identity of the suspect in this crime. The suspect was identified as Luis Solano-Diaz, a 35 year-old Simi Valley resident. Solano-Diaz was located in the city that day and arrested without incident. Evidence linking Solano-Diaz was also located, including clothing and a handgun. He was booked at the Ventura County Pre-Trial Detention Facility.

This morning, just after 9 AM, a lone suspect entered Hookah Valley located at 1230 Madera Rd. in Simi Valley and presented a handgun to the cashier. During the robbery, the suspect demanded and got away with an undisclosed amount of cash and tobacco products. If anyone in the community recognizes this individual, who was described as a Hispanic Male, 30 to 35 years of age, who wore a black hoodie, black baseball cap and black pants and arrived on a beach cruiser type bicycle (photos attached), please contact the Simi Valley Police Department at, (805) 583-6950.
