Special Weather Statement until 06:45PM

At 609 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Big Otter, or 13 miles northeast of Clay, moving southeast at 15 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Big Otter, Birch River, Harrison, Nebo, Widen, Frametown, Strange Creek, Wilsie, Ivydale, and Servia. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 38 and 56. Route 19 between mile markers 59 and 66.
