Con Edison is installing generators in Brooklyn to support the power grid during extreme demand in the Crown Heights & Brownsville sections including ZIPs: 11212, 11213, 11233 & 11203. Customers in the area may see temporary impacts to electric service. There is no expected impact to life-sustaining equipment, critical facilities, traffic lights, or street lighting.

- Please stay safe. Never go near or touch a fallen power line. If you see a downed wire, call 1-800-75-CONED immediately. 
- Do not use generators indoors. 
- Keep refrigerator & freezer doors closed to prevent food spoilage.
