Crack sealing of the roadway at the intersection of 3rd Ave. and S. Norfolk St. and its approaches began today as part of the 3rd Avenue and Norfolk Street Intersection Modification Project. Slurry sealing will begin tomorrow and go through Friday. As traffic has been affected, and will be through the end of the week, we’d like to remind you to drive with caution. There are several contractors out there doing the work and we’d like to keep them safe, along with those driving and walking in the area. To affect travelers the least, this work is scheduled from 9am-5pm.

The streetlights have been set to flashing red to slow the flow of traffic to aid the flaggers at this location. Please treat flashing reds as a 4-way stop and mind the instructions provided to you by those directing traffic.

Horizon drive, drive slowly as you approach, be cautious, and practice patience. This temporary impact will yield a beautiful new roadway for you to travel across soon.
