Freedom Fest Community Event UPDATE
Friday, June 27 at 12 Noon
City Hall and Public Works will close for business service but phones are answered till 5 p.m. at City Hall.
Friday at 12 Noon, STREET CLOSURES begin Downtown Mathis along E. San Patricio Avenue between Bee Street through Encinal Street.
Friday at 7:00 p.m., the Freedom Fest Parade starts from the High School and ends a Hidalgo Street by H.E.B.
Saturday, June 28
The festivities begin at 7:30 a.m. with a 5K Run/Walk Event starting at City Hall, running towards FM 666 past the Middle School and ending back at City Hall.
Saturday, festival grounds open up at 3:00 p.m. for Music, Vendors and Free kids activities.
Bring your lawn chairs.
No Ice Chests and No outside drinks allowed.
