Flood Watch until 04:00AM Friday

Heavy rainfall over the past several days has led to saturated soils with many low lying areas and ditches seeing standing water. With an additional 1 to 3 inches of rainfall likely this afternoon and evening, additional flooding is possible, particularly in urban areas and locations with poor drainage.

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is possible.

* WHERE...Portions of Iowa, including the following counties, Allamakee, Howard, Mitchell and Winneshiek, southeast Minnesota, including the following counties, Dodge, Fillmore, Houston, Mower, Olmsted and Winona, and Wisconsin, including the following counties, Adams, Crawford, Juneau, La Crosse, Monroe, Richland and Vernon.

* WHEN...From noon CDT today through late tonight.

* IMPACTS...Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas. Storm drains and ditches may become clogged with debris. Extensive street flooding and flooding of creeks and rivers are possible.
