1. Resisting Arrest (1618) 100 Block of North Center Street, Civic District
Officers were in the listed area investigating an assault. The officers contacted the suspect and attempted to arrest him. The suspect resisted officers, and force was required to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Gerrit Ingram, 37, for domestic violence, child abuse, violation of a restraining order, providing a false name, and resisting arrest.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (0143) 6400 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
The male victims, 27 and 47, were in the listed area when the suspects attempted to strike them with their vehicle. A suspect exited the vehicle and pistol-whipped one of the victims. A suspect then fired a weapon at the victims while fleeing the area. The victims were not struck by gunfire. One of the victims suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was treated at an area hospital. SUSPECTS: Two White male adults and one White female adult.
3. Carjacking (0159) 300 Block of South Filbert Street, Park District
The male victim, 25, and the female victim, 25, were parked in the area in their vehicle. The male victim exited his vehicle when he noticed the three suspects approaching. The suspects assaulted the male and took property belonging to him. The suspects then pointed a firearm at the female victim and took the victim’s vehicle. Officers responded to the area and located the victim’s vehicle abandoned nearby. SUSPECTS: One Black male adult and two Black male juveniles.
4. Battery on Officer (0318) 1900 Block of North El Dorado Street, Civic District
Officers responded to a disturbance call in the listed area. Two known suspects broke into the residence and assaulted a victim. Officers arrived and took the suspects into custody. One of the suspects spat on an officer during the arrest. ARRESTED: #1 Omar Garcia, 20, for burglary, domestic violence, and battery on an officer. #2 Emilio Garcia, 22, for burglary and assault charges.
