After the victim parked and exited his vehicle, he was approached from behind by the suspects. One suspect grabbed and restrained him while the other suspect took his iPhone 15 Pro. The victim was struck in the face by one suspect as the other brandished a firearm at him. Both suspects fled south on Santa Barbara Avenue before turning west onto Vista Grande Avenue. The suspects were described as Black males with thin builds, both wearing black hooded sweatshirts and full face coverings. This investigation is ongoing.

On Saturday, 06-21-25, at approximately 12:30 p.m., on the 400 block of Winchester Street, a victim stated that while she was inside her home, her son, who was outside, told her that someone wanted to see her. Two unknown female suspects entered the residence and stated they wanted to give the victim blessings. One suspect walked the victim to the kitchen, kissed her hand, and appeared to place something in her pockets, which was later found to be wadded-up papers. The other suspect went to the bedroom. When the victim entered the bedroom, she saw the suspect near her purse on the bed. The suspects exited the residence and got into a dark-colored Toyota RAV4 driven by a male suspect. The vehicle headed northbound on Winchester Street. The victim then checked her purse and discovered that an envelope containing cash was missing. One suspect had also placed fake jewelry on the bed. Nextdoor.com
Nextdoor.com is a free private social networking website for your neighborhood. This private network ensures that only those who live in your neighborhood can join; users must go through a verification process. Neighbors ask each other for business recommendations; help in locating missing pets; discuss relevant local government issues; or connect for other reasons. It is very easy to sign up. I like the fact that the site verifies users by addresses, and it won’t allow people to access a neighborhood if they don’t live there. Please note: The City of Daly City and/or the Police Department cannot see what residents post—we are only allowed to post information. There is also a mobile application, or you can have it sent to your e-mail. Give it a try! www.nextdoor.com
