Special Weather Statement until 11:00PM

At 1029 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm 8 miles northeast of Birch River, or 8 miles southeast of Sutton, moving north at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and half inch hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible. Locations impacted include... Sutton, Gassaway, Birch River, Flatwoods, Little Birch, Centralia, and Erbacon. This includes the following highways... Interstate 79 between mile markers 55 and 68. Route 19 between mile markers 59 and 68.
