Wilmington Police have arrested a man and woman on drug charges:
On June 26, at approximately 2:30 p.m., members of the Drug, Organized Crime, and Vice Division were in the 100 block of West 8th Street, when they observed a male and female engaged in drug-related activity. Police made contact with 24-year-old Kelandre Jackson, and 49-year-old Luciana North, who were taken into custody without incident. Police recovered 2.64 grams of crack cocaine, and drug paraphernalia.
Jackson has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
He was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $10,000 unsecured bail.
North has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Controlled Substance with the Intent to Deliver
- Conspiracy (Second Degree)
She was arraigned in the New Castle County Court of Common Pleas and was released on $7,000 unsecured bail.
