* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for... Northwestern Burlington County in southern New Jersey... East central Montgomery County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Southeastern Bucks County in southeastern Pennsylvania... Northeastern Philadelphia County in southeastern Pennsylvania...

* Until 400 PM EDT.

* At 314 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line extending from Northeast Philadelphia to Willingboro, moving northeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.

* Locations impacted include... Philadelphia, Bensalem, Willingboro, Florence, Burlington, Bristol, Riverside, Bordentown, Beverly, Tullytown, Langhorne, Bryn Athyn, Feasterville-Trevose, Florence-Roebling, Northeast Philadelphia, Feasterville, Jacksonville, Richboro, Andalusia, and Holmesburg.

Instructions:

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a building. In addition to large hail and damaging winds, frequent cloud to ground lightning is occurring with these storms. Move indoors immediately. Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck by lightning. Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
