Alert

Storms Bring Heavy Rain & Gusty Wind Threat * Threat Time: Tuesday 3:00 PM - 9:00 PM A Marginal Flood Risk lingers thru Midnight.

We've got another round of storms on the way later today into the evening. There's obviously plenty of warmth and humidity in place, so some of these storms will be capable of damaging wind gusts and heavy downpours. From a wind gust potential, this is a relatively typical (if not slightly lesser) mid-summer late day type risk of storms being able to bring down some tree limbs or powerlines. Meanwhile, with excessive moisture in the atmosphere today, all storms will have downpours, and there will be some torrential ones, which lead to a quick inch or more, and bring poor drainage & roadway flooding concerns. While the threat begins early this afternoon, it peaks later in the PM rush hour to about sunset.

Instructions:

Secure outdoor furniture and decorations. Seek shelter as the storm arrives.
