Two-Vehicle Injury Crash 
Sheriff Clint Roach reports that on July 1, 2025 at approximately 0830 hours, Deputies from the Cass County Sheriff's Office responded to a two-vehicle crash at the intersection of Dailey Road and Matthews St, LaGrange, Cass County, Michigan.
The investigation showed that a vehicle driven by Patti Clymer, (67-years-old of Niles, MI) was northbound on Dailey Rd. A vehicle driven by Alfonso Martin (25-years-old of Hartford, MI) failed to stop at the stop sign, going into the intersection and crashing into the other vehicle.
Clymer was transported by ambulance to South Bend Memorial Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. Martin was transported by ambulance to South Elkhart General Hospital for injuries sustained in the crash. The passenger in Martin’s vehicle, John Wienenga, (45-years-old of Bangor, MI), was transported by ambulance to Corewell Health Lakeland Hospital.
Assisting agencies were Dowagiac Police Department, SMCAS Ambulance, Central Cass Fire, and Wayne Township Fire Department.
The incident remains under investigation.
