As Independence Day approaches, we'd like to provide a friendly reminder that fireworks are prohibited in the city limits! That's right, even the little ones that just fizzle and disappoint.

Ferris DPS enforces a zero-tolerance policy and will issue citations to anyone caught violating this ordinance. IMPORTANT NOTE: Additional charges may apply if any city property is damaged, including parks.

We get it.....fireworks are fun. But so are eyebrows and not setting your neighbor’s lawn on fire.
