Narrative:
During the second week of May 2025, the Thousand Oaks Directed Enforcement Unit (DEU) received information that Ryan Jasinski was selling illegal narcotics to residents in the City of Thousand Oaks. DEU initiated an investigation into Jasinski for narcotics sales and developed probable cause to arrest him for a violation of Health and Safety Code 11351 – Possession for Sale of a Controlled Substance.

On June 3, 2025, DEU deputies contacted Ryan Jasinski and arrested him for narcotic related criminal charges.  Following his arrest, DEU members served a residential search warrant at his residence in Thousand Oaks. During the search, deputies located narcotics including fentanyl, methamphetamine, psilocybin mushrooms, and narcotics-related indicia. The methamphetamine, fentanyl, and psilocybin mushrooms were packaged for sale, with a combined total weight of approximately five ounces. 
Jasinski was subsequently arrested for the following charges:
H&S 11351 - Possession for sale of controlled substance
H&S 11352 (A) - Transportation for sale of controlled substance
H&S 11378 - Possession for sale of controlled substance
H&S 11379 (A) - Transportation for sale of controlled substance
Jasinsky was Transported and booked at the East Valley Jail. 
DEU is comprised of eight detectives, who focus on protecting East County communities by actively investigating illegal activities by conducting intelligence led policing with a focus on identifying and arresting prolific offenders.
