The involved pedestrian, from the crash which occurred on June 27th, succumbed to their injuries and was pronounced deceased on June 30th, at a local hospital.  The Dane County Medical Examiner’s Office will release the name of the deceased at a later time.

On behalf of the Middleton Police Department and our community, our sympathy goes to the family and friends of the deceased individual.

This crash remains under active investigation by the Middleton Police Department.  The driver of the vehicle is cooperating with investigators.
