INCIDENT: PC 503 - Embezzlement
LOCATION: 7600 Sage Avenue, Yucca Valley, CA, 92284
SUSPECT(S): Ariana Rodriguez, 34-year-old female resident of Yucca Valley
VICTIM(S): Parent Teacher Organization organized through Yucca Valley High School
SUMMARY: On Wednesday, June 18, 2025, a member of the Parent Teacher Organization (PTO) at Yucca Valley High School notified law enforcement of unauthorized withdrawal transactions from the PTO account. During the investigation, it was determined Ariana Rodriguez, a current teacher at Yucca Valley High School and the PTO account's assigned overseer, embezzled over $8,500.00 through unauthorized transactions over a two-year period.
On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at approximately 10:00 a.m., investigators obtained an arrest warrant for PC 503, Embezzlement, and arrested Ariana Rodriguez. Rodriguez was booked at the Morongo Basin jail, and is being held in lieu of $30,000.00 bail.
