* At 334 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Flatbrookville, or 10 miles northwest of Newton, moving east at 30 mph. HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and penny size hail. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Damage to roofs, siding, trees, and power lines is possible.
* Locations impacted include... Newton, Hopatcong, Franklin, Hamburg, Ogdensburg, Sussex, Branchville, Andover, Flatbrookville, Lake Mohawk, Werry Lake, Millbrook, Five Points, Pellettown, Crandon Lakes, Echo Lake, Highland Lake, Marshalls Creek, and Hidden Lake.
