SUSPECT(S): Unknown Hispanic Male Adult

SUMMARY: On Wednesday, July 2, 2025, at 7:31 p.m., deputies responded to a report of a shooting in the parking lot of Little Caesars in Phelan.
An altercation between two subjects occurred in the parking lot, which resulted in one subject being shot. Both subjects fled the area immediately afterwards. The subject suffering from the gunshot wound was located a short time later at a nearby residence and transported to a regional trauma center by Mercy Air. The suspect fled the scene in a white Ford Fusion and has not been located.
The suspect is described as a Hispanic male adult in his 40’s with a heavy build, bald head, and black goatee. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, camo shorts, white long socks, and blue shoes.
