* At 234 PM MST, Doppler radar indicated between 0.75 and 1.25 inches of rain has fallen along Nogales Highway near Summit. Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly, especially drainages that fill into Franco Wash and Flato Wash. HAZARD...Life threatening flash flooding. Thunderstorms producing flash flooding. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Life threatening flash flooding of creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses.
* Some locations that will experience flash flooding include... Tucson, Drexel Heights, Pascua Pueblo Yaqui Reservation, San Xavier Community, Summit, Tucson International Airport and San Xavier Mission. This includes Interstate 19 between mile markers 51 and 57. This includes the following Flash Flood Prone Locations... Country Club Rd at Franco Wash and Old Vail COnnection Rd at Franco Wash.
