* At 552 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Martinsville, or near Plainfield, moving southeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include... Somerville, Carteret, Middlesex, Bound Brook, Colonia, Martinsville, Millington, Woodbridge, South Plainfield, North Plainfield, Metuchen, Dunellen, Watchung, Iselin, Sewaren, Port Reading, Fords, and Avenel.
