Severe Weather Alert – Temporary Evacuation of Donaldson Park
The National Weather Service has reported a band of thunderstorms moving into our area, expected to arrive around 6:30 p.m.
If you were planning to head to Donaldson Park around this time, please delay your arrival and seek shelter. For everyone’s safety, the park will need to be temporarily evacuated.
At this time, fireworks and evening festivities remain scheduled. We expect the weather to clear by approximately 7:45 p.m. and will send another notification once it is safe to return.
There will be fireworks tonight, even if they are delayed slightly.
