At 715 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 9 miles north of Montoya to 11 miles north of Sumner Lake State Park, moving southeast at 10 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Tucumcari and Montoya. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 302 and 329. State Road 104 between Mile Markers 92 and 102.
