Pre-Evacuation Notice in effect at of 7:00 pm on July 3, 2025 for 6 Mile Creek to SY Road along Moon Creek along Moon Creek Road

ATTENTION RESIDENTS AND VISITORS:

A wildfire is currently threatening areas in the 6 Mile Creek to SY Road along the Moon Creek Road.  Due to the evolving fire behavior, a PRE-EVACUATION notice has been issued for all residents, businesses and vistors within the affected area.

This is a precautionary measure to prepare for potential evacuation.  At this point in time, there is no immediate threat requiring evactuation, but conditions are being closely monitored.

WHAT YOU SHOULD DO:
1. Prepare to evacuate: If conditions worsen,you may be asked to evacuate without further notice.  Prepare your emergenc kit and ensure you can leave quickly if needed
2.  Stay informed: Monitor local newa nd official channels for real-time updates.  Emergency services will provide further instructions if an evacuation order is issued.
3. Evacuation Routes:  The primary evacuation route for this area is Moon Creek Road to SY Road.  Familiarize ourself with this route in case of an evacuation order is issued. 
4.  Protect your Property:  Clear all brush and debris form around your home.  Ensure that any oudoor equipment or fuel is stored safely and away from potential fire hazards.
5.  Check on the Vulnerable Neighbors:  If you have elderly or disabled neighbors, ensure thaty are aware of the situation and can evacuate if necessary.
6.  Pets and Livestock:  Prepare to evacuate pets and livestock.  If you need assiatnce, please contact your local animal control services. 

What You Can Expect:
The situation will be reassessed periodically, and updated notices will be issued.  If the fire progresses to the point where immediate evacuation is required, emergency services will coordinate evacuation efforts.
