At 439 AM PDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Mountain View Lake, or 9 miles northwest of Owyhee, moving northeast at 30 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Areas of blowing dust possible. This storm will remain over mainly rural areas of northwestern Elko County.
