1. Weapon Arrest (1600) Center Street and Elm Street, Civic District
Officers conducted an enforcement stop of a vehicle for traffic violations. A search of the vehicle revealed that the suspect was in possession of a loaded firearm. ARRESTED: Anthony Dawson, 21, for weapon charges.
2. Assault with a Deadly Weapon (1607) 3200 Block of Volney Street, Park District
The unknown victim was walking in the listed area when four armed suspects shot at the victim. The suspects fled on foot. Three vehicles were struck. The victim was not located. SUSPECTS: Three Black male adults and an unknown-race male adult.
