Zero Tolerance: No Fireworks 
Independence Day is a time for celebration, but in La Habra Heights, all fireworks, including those labeled as "safe and sane" ie: sparklers, smoke balls, and ground spinning fireworks, are prohibited. Due to the high fire risk and the rural nature of our community, it is against the law to light, sell, or possess fireworks within the city limits.
LA County Sheriff and La Habra Heights Fire will have extra patrols throughout the city on July 4th and may confiscate fireworks and issue citations to those in violation. Additionally, there is no parking allowed within the city for fireworks viewing. Please avoid stopping or blocking roadways, as this could delay emergency responders in case of an urgent situation.
Fireworks and parking violation reporting is avaialble from 5 p.m. to 12 a.m. on July 4th.
To report illegal fireworks or parking, call 562-694-6302 (ext. 0) and be prepared to give an address of the violation and a detailed description of the individual(s) involved if possible or use the fireworks reporting form for faster service.
