Republic Services Flooding Impact Trash Collection Services – Public Notice

We have just been informed that Republic Services’ main yard in San Angelo was significantly flooded due to the ongoing severe weather affecting the region. The majority of their trash truck fleet was impacted by floodwaters and is currently out of service.
Republic Services is actively working to deliver replacement trucks from other regions to restore operations and continue servicing the Concho Valley area, including Sonora.
Citizens are advised to anticipate and expect possible delays in trash pickup services over the coming days. Republic Services will continue to keep us updated, and we will promptly share any new information with the public as it becomes available.
