Fireworks in the Park (Take Two) - Sunday, 7/6

We are excited that the weather appears to be cooperating for the rescheduled fireworks celebration in Donaldson Park tonight! The festivities officially start at 6:00 PM, but vendors will be ready to serve up the food and fun by 5:30 PM, so feel free to beat the rush and come on down! Fireworks launch at approximately 9:15 PM. 

There will be plenty of fun for all ages, including:
> Balloon artists and stilt walkers 
> Face painting
> Bounce house, slide, and obstacle course for kids
> Gaming truck with fun for all ages
> Vendors with unique novelty items and more!

Traffic Advisory for Sunday, July 6th
To allow for the festivities and the fireworks, Donaldson Park will be closed to vehicular traffic. Spectators attending the event may park in any legal parking space along borough roads. Accessible parking is available at the Middlesex County Park Ranger checkpoint located at the South Second Avenue entrance to Donaldson Park.

Please consider walking or biking to the park to avoid the traffic. Valentine Street will be transformed into a pedestrian walkway and will be closed to all vehicular traffic for approximately 30 minutes after the conclusion of the fireworks.

Due to public safety considerations, the following temporary parking restrictions will be in effect on July 6th from 2 p.m. until 10 p.m.:
> No parking on Valentine St from S. 1st Ave to S. 5th Ave
> No parking on Riverview Ave
> No parking on S. 2nd Ave from Valentine St to Donaldson St
> No parking on S. 3rd Ave from Valentine St to Donaldson St
> No parking on Braun Ave from Valentine St to Donaldson St
