1. Battery on an Officer (1703) March Lane and Pershing Avenue, Lakeview District
Officers responded to a disturbance call involving an intoxicated person. Officers located the suspect and took him into custody. While in custody, the suspect became combative and kicked officers. ARRESTED: Trumaine Walden, 31, transient, for public intoxication, battery on an officer, and resisting arrest.
2. Robbery (1756) 5000 Block of Montauban Avenue, Valley Oak District
The male victim, 33, was working at an area business when the suspect walked out of the business with store merchandise without paying. The victim followed and attempted to retrieve the property from the suspect's vehicle. A second suspect held onto the property as they fled, causing the victim to fall. The victim sustained minor injuries and declined medical treatment. SUSPECTS: Hispanic female, White female, and an unknown-race male adult.
3. Attempted Robbery (1815) 8600 Block of Acapulco Way, Bear Creek District
The female victim, 29, was in the listed area when she was approached by the suspect, who brandished a handgun and demanded her property. The victim refused and sped away. SUSPECT: Hispanic male adult.
4. Pursuit Arrest (2313) West Lane and Cloves Court, Valley Oak District
Officers attempted an enforcement stop of a vehicle in the listed area. The driver failed to yield, leading officers on a pursuit. Officers were able to take the driver into custody without further incident. ARRESTED: Angel Sarraraz, 40, for DUI and pursuit charges.
5. Weapons Arrest (0022) 1500 East Ninth Street, Park District
Officers conducted a proactive traffic enforcement stop in the listed area. Upon contact, officers observed a firearm in the vehicle. Five occupants were detained without incident. A search of the vehicle revealed an additional loaded firearm in the back seat. ARRESTED: Diego Aguilar, 20, and four male juveniles for weapons and narcotic charges.
