Flood Advisory until 08:00PM

* WHAT...Flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected.

* WHERE...A portion of west central Texas, including the following county, Sutton.

* WHEN...Until 800 PM CDT.

* IMPACTS...Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas, and low water crossings.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 600 PM CDT, National Weather Service radar indicated a band of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall moving south into northern Sutton County from southern Schleicher County. This band of showers and storms will continue moving south across Sutton County early this evening. Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Some street flooding is likely in Sonora. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Sonora, The Intersection Of Us-277 And Ranch Road 189, The Intersection Of Ranch Road 2596 And Ranch Road 864, Us-277 Near The Sutton-Edwards County Line and The Intersection Of I-10 And Ranch Road 1989. - http://www.weather.gov/safety/flood
