At 600 PM MDT, Doppler radar was tracking a line of strong thunderstorms extending from 6 miles north of Cuervo to 19 miles north of Ramon, moving southeast at 25 mph. HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph. SOURCE...Radar indicated. IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Locations impacted include... Sumner Lake State Park, Sumner Lake, Puerto De Luna, Cuervo, Yeso and Newkirk. This includes the following highways... Interstate 40 between Mile Markers 282 and 311. Highway 60 between Mile Markers 283 and 320.
