*UPD* #LASD Homicide Detectives Assisted Bell PD re: Death Investigation, 4400 blk. Florence Ave., City of Bell
Los Angeles County Sheriff's Homicide investigators are continuing their investigation into the death of a male adult in the city of Bell.
Officers from the Bell Police Department responded to a motel at the 4400 block of Florence Avenue in the city of Bell regarding a medical assist, male not breathing call at the location. The incident occurred on Sunday, July 6, 2025, at approximately 5:41 p.m. Upon arrival, officers located an unresponsive male in the motel room. The Los Angeles County Fire Department responded and pronounced the male dead on scene.
Investigators learned a clerk received a call to check the welfare of a tenant at the motel. When he made entry into the room, he discovered the male unresponsive. He immediately called 911 for an emergency response.
The investigation is ongoing, and currently, there's no information available at this time.
