The male victim, 26, was working at an area business when the suspects entered, brandished a firearm, and demanded property. The victim complied, and the suspects took merchandise and fled the business. SUSPECTS: Black male adult and a juvenile male.
2. Narcotics/Resisting Arrest (1840) 6000 Block of West Lane, Valley Oak District
Officers were in the listed area and contacted a suspect contributing to the delinquency of a minor. Officers attempted to detain the suspect, who resisted, and force was used to take him into custody. ARRESTED: Jermal Anwan Smith, 32, for narcotics charges, resisting arrest, and purchasing alcohol for a minor.

The female victim, 38, was in the listed area when she attempted to stop a disturbance involving the known
suspect. The suspect brandished a firearm, pointed at her, and then fled. The victim was uninjured.
