Fire Weather Watch until 09:00PM Wednesday

...FIRE WEATHER WATCHES IN EFFECT WEDNESDAY FOR SOUTHEAST IDAHO FIRE WEATHER ZONES 410 413 425 AND 427 DUE TO GUSTY WIND AND LOW HUMIDITY... .A dry cold front that should swing through Wednesday night will bring an increase in the wind on Wednesday afternoon and evening that will combine with very low relative humidity in portions of southern Idaho to produce critical fire weather conditions. The National Weather Service in Pocatello has issued a Fire Weather Watch for gusty winds and low relative humidity, which is in effect from Wednesday afternoon through Wednesday evening.

* AFFECTED AREA...Fire Weather Zone 425 Middle Snake River Valley/Twin Falls BLM north of the Snake River and Fire Weather Zone 427 Goose Creek and Raft River Valley/Southern Sawtooth NF/Twin Falls BLM south of the Snake River.

* WINDS...West 10 to 20 mph with gusts up to 30 mph.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...As low as 13 percent.

* IMPACTS...When these weather conditions combine with critically dry fuels, extreme fire behavior, including intensity and spread rate, can result.

* AFFECTED AREAS: MIDDLE SNAKE RIVER VALLEY/TWIN FALLS BLM NORTH OF THE SNAKE RIVER ... GOOSE CREEK AND RAFT RIVER VALLEY/SOUTHERN SAWTOOTH NF/TWIN FALLS BLM SOUTH OF THE SNAKE RIVER
