The National Weather Service has issued a Flood Watch for Westchester County in effect from 2:00 p.m. today, July 8 until 2:00 a.m. tomorrow, July 9, 2025. Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. Urban, low lying and poor drainage areas will be most susceptible to flooding. High rainfall rates can also create hazardous conditions on roadways.
Continue monitoring updates to the forecast by visiting weather.gov, then search for your zip code.
During a flood, water levels and the rate at which the water is flowing can quickly change.

  • Do not drive through flooded roadways.
  • NEVER drive around barricades!
  • Rising and fast floodwaters can sweep vehicles away or cause you to lose control of a vehicle.
