Wilmington Police arrest male juvenile on gun charges: 
Wilmington Police have arrested a male juvenile on gun charges.
On July 4, at approximately 9:04 p.m., police were in the area of Justison and Beech Streets, when they observed a male subject illegally operating a motorized scooter. Police made contact with a 14-year-old male juvenile, who was found to be in possession of a loaded 9mm handgun. The 14-year-old male juvenile was taken into custody without incident.
The 14-year-old male juvenile has been charged with the following offenses:
- Possession of a Firearm By a Person Prohibited
- Carrying a Concealed Deadly Weapon
- Unlawful Operation of a Motorized Scooter
